- Upcoming I have something to write about the organization of the desktop, browser, RSS feeds and systems. I've been working really hard on getting easily to set up and workable systems in my digital life to make the most out of my time online. Fuck the modern web, stop relying on third parties to control your internet experience and start controlling it yourself. I'm also working on writing a podcast about the topic as well. ×0

- Heat Warning Every afternoon for the past week and a half has been so incredibly hot and fucked up, we're reaching 100-103 f now. It's making me incredibly sick. ×0
- This Review Has Gotten Worse Since I Last Wrote Had the rare instance of a purposeful DNF on a book, meaning I put it down intentionally and didn't just fall off due to illness. Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca was not good. I'm sorry to say it, it's a popular title. I'll give you what I wrote on my Storygraph.
This might be one of the worst representations of early internet vocabulary & tone setting I've come across in a horror piece. The in character authors note really sets us up for a comically poor considered plot movement between the two main characters. The fact that the early internet & the year 2000 is supposed to be a highlight in this piece while the language Agnes & Zoe use feels right out of prime time Tumblr 15-16 years after the year 2000 is just disappointing.
Further digging into the piece after I stopped around 30% in, and god. What can I even say. I tormented my partner and friends with this for a bit. I have terrible luck with fiction ×0
