Finding Lesbian Community

Something I’ve been struggling with in the larger portion of my 20s and especially existing in college is how utterly transactional interactions with the queer community here is. All of the resources and a lot of the events that take place cost money, or are placed in a way that makes them so inaccessible that I feel left by the wayside, but I know I’m not the only person going through this based on the online communities I do have which are experiencing this same kind of lack of community not based in cost or what you can offer. Why have we resigned every social option we have to capitalism and what do we need to do to draw it back. How are you finding community now, in a time like this?
